Julie A. Meek, DNS was founder and 13-year CEO of The Haelantm Group, a predictive modeling and health coaching company, purchased in December 2006 by CareGuide, an integrated health management company. As the first entrant and successful graduate of the Indiana University Emerging Technology Center, Haelan brought 60 new jobs to central Indiana and won ten business awards for growth, innovation and entrepreneurism. Under Julie’s tenure, Haelan achieved best-in-class health care cost control for their employer clients and significantly changed the health management industry by introducing powerful predictive modeling and coaching methods to the spectrum of health management services. Julie provides consulting services to self-funded employer clients nationwide, contributing her expertise in population health management, outcomes measurement, health-related portal development and coaching methodologies. She is Visiting Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Nursing and on the Dean's Advisory Council for IU's School of Informatics. Dr. Meek earned her doctorate in behavioral science and research with Highest Distinction from Indiana University. |
